Around 22 years back Kadana dam was constructed. 53 villages were submerged in Gujarat. Today people are without land…They have no drinking water. There is no certainty at all…people go to cities to do mazdoori and feed their children. Sarkar does not care at all. They have no handpumps, no wells. We need the support of women from all other states to change the situation…
